~Hannah is a senior. I pray we will give her the foundation that she needs to follow fervently after God and to make her own godly decisions in life. To think that we have one more year to pour into this precious child God has given to us is eye opening. Not that I don’t have confidence in her ability to follow the Lord, for I do greatly, rather I am amazed how quickly the years all passed by. I want her to receive such godly love from David and I that she never has to search in the wrong places for it. I pray our love only points her strongly to God’s faithful, pure love. ~Anais struggles in having someone close at heart. She so misses Talitha. I pray her struggle will decrease this year through the knowledge of God’s character seeping into her soul and that our love would be an encouragement and confirmation of the love of God. ~Gabriel still has constant outbursts of anger. He is a happy child, but can so quickly flip flop moods with the slightest situation. His heart is so open to God and he announces his love toward his siblings daily, yet the outbursts continue. Our prayer is that God would heal Gabriel’s heart emotionally and help him deal with his emotions as we root in him a healthy way of dealing with his feelings. Also that he would learn how to be in good, godly relationship with his siblings. ~Josiah is so active. I pray I have good time with him each day to minister to his heart and physical active body, not just keep up with him. ~David-continued healing: emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. ~Rhonda- that I would balance the many things on my plate this year and make our home a joyful, peaceful place that our children love to be and that I foster in them a love of learning. My heart is to give sweet time to each child each day. I pray that this year will be a time we all walk deeply with our God through Him pursuing us and us pursuing Him and that His grace would immerse each one of us. |
